Mission

"The Forestry Training Unit is responsible to provide excellence workforce through comprehensive and integrated training programs in line with the Forestry Department of Peninsular Malaysia vision to be recognized as an excellent agency in sustainable management of tropical forest”.

Objectives

To provide for trained and skillful workforce in multiple field of forestry sufficiently.
To provide for comprehensive and integrated training programs in all aspects of forestry in line with present development.
To provide for complete training facilities as to increase the level and quality of training.
To provide for specialist in all field forestry.

Vision 2020

"Beside implementing those,

we must try to ensure that

our valuable natural resources not wasted.

Our soil must remain productive and fertile,

our environment should remain clear and clean,

our water not polluted,

our forest resource not extinct

and capable of producing for nation development.

The beauty of the earth should not be destroyey -

safeguard its beauty in order to increase the economic growth".
